All the indications are that the cost-of-living crisis will continue over this coming autumn and winter. These free workshops will share information and resources that you can use when supporting vulnerable people. They will cover both carbon monoxide (CO) safety and ways in which you can get help and share best practice in relation to fuel poverty and the cost-of-living crisis.
The workshops are run by a partnership of the Gas Safe Charity, SGN, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Age Scotland, Greener Kirkcaldy (Cosy Kingdom) and Citizens Advice.
The workshops are taking place at Fife Renewables Innovation Centre in Leven on Weds 11th October – morning (09.30 – 12.00) and afternoon 13.00 – 15.30.
The in-person workshops are aimed at front-line staff and volunteers who support vulnerable people. They’re relevant to people from social care, NHS, the Fire & Rescue Service, Housing Associations, the voluntary / community sector and the private homecare sector.
