Greener Kirkcaldy is a community charity, working on a local scale to benefit people and our environment. We are concerned about climate change and by the impact of rising food and fuel costs. We would like to see a future where everyone is able to heat their home affordably, eat well, and tread more lightly on our planet. We:
- Give practical advice and support to individuals, households and organisations, to help them go greener
- Run courses and workshops to encourage people to reduce fuel bills, grow their own fruit and vegetables, cook with seasonal, local food, reduce waste and learn new skills
- Hold fun events and go out to community groups and schools to raise awareness of the need to respect and protect the environment
